So I made my first video today. It was nothing big because I have my 4 year old home sick and my 1 and 2 year old are in a bad mood today. I had to use my iphone to make the video so the quilty might not be that good sorry.

Paper Playtime challenge BOO-ville

Hi everyone


I just love halloween!!! With 4 kids i just love see them all dressed up in. So i have made up a card for the Paper Playtime Challenge this monday.

For this card its a black A2 size! I used three mats for my card orange, black and a halloween saying paper. i cut the ghost out of the simply charmed cartridge on page 58 3 inch.  I used the peachy keen stamps PK-691Making a Monster Face. I always outline my stamped faces with glossy accents just to give them that little POP! "Boo to you" stamp is from My Pink Stamper "spook-alicious". I added 2 black buttons and put 2 little white button to the top of them.
The inside of my card i used my cuttlebug and the Darice spider web folder to emboss the paper and then finished it off with the clear embossing powder by Ranger.

Pregnancy survival kit and congratulation card

Hi everyone sorry i have been IMA the past week but my baby turned one yesterday and he has a bad cold, so i have been trying to get him better.

We found out that one of our friends are expecting their first baby this spring. I wanted to give her something very special so i came up with this pregnancy survival kit! don't you just love it!!!

Here is what i thought she needed for her survival kit.
* premium crackers

The big item we finished off with was the pregnancy pillow that I say is a MUST HAVE ITEM!!!


Then of course i finished it off with a card i made them. I used the 9 month cricut cartagridge  for the image.

I hope you guys just love it as much as she did!

scrapbooking layer for teeth

Hi everyone i hope your having a great week. I started scrapbooking again, its been years since i have done this. My oldest son Cohen just started grade one and over the past 4 years with him in sports and full time school i have so much school thing i had no idea what to do with. So i started him up with his own scrapbook.

Cohen lost his first tooth this summer and i had NO idea what to do with his tooth. I couldn't just throw it out and i don't want to have bags of teeth in my house down the road. So i made a scrapbook page for when he loses his teeth.

Tell me what you think? I cut out 2 teeth from the child years cartridge and cut a window in the top tooth and back it with acetate. Then popped it up with 3d dots and glued his tooth down with a glue dot. I just love this idea and i finished it off with a flag with the date that tooth broke threw and they day is fell out.

CHALLENGE #5 PAPER ONLY!

Here is what i made! very hard to do this with a 2.5 year old and 11 month old but i did it!!! 

Mystery Box Challenge Even

I Cant believe this weekend has finally come, Its the Megan Elizabeth's (from Above Rubies Studio) Mystery Box Challenge Event.  It is going to be lots of fun and i have had so much fun making my challenges.   Each participant purchased a box full of items to be used in 5 challenges during the event.  Here are my first two project that i made!

Challenge #1

In challenge #1 we had to Create a Card using the stamp technique in the "My 123 Stamp" DVD and materials from the Mystery Box.   Here is my card that i came up with 

Challenge #2

With Challenge #2 we had to uses all 9 blocks on a sheet of Paper Layerz, create 9 mini scrapbook layouts.  Also, you must use the matching sheet of Paper Layerz to create embellishments for the mini layouts.  I made a scrapbook page for my youngest son.  I used one sheet of Paper Layerz for the base and the other sheet to create the frame for all the pictures. I can say i used both sheets for paper layers :) 

I hope you enjoyed my first 2 challenges.

Health problems

Hi everyone sorry I haven't been posting lately but I am have some health problems. I have been in and out of the hospital. I am hoping by the end of the week I will be back on my feet and back to making cards.

Hi everyone! Not sure about you but my kids alway want to play with my cricut. So yesterday i let my 4 year old son make a card. I let him pick any cartridge and he picked all the colour for his card. He taped everything and glued everything down. He had a GREAT time making his card.   I hope you guys love it as much as I do!

Krafty Girls "Get in Shape!" challenge #13

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week. Mine has been crazy my kids have been in mad moods all week so i haven't been able to do much. http://www.kraftygirls.com is having a challenge to create a shaped card with any theme. Here is my card i made its very simply but will make you smile. 

Things i used
* wild card cartridge page 52 Doily card fit to page. 
*blue paper if from Mega Cardstock from walmart
*Happy Face is again from wild card cartridge. Page 45 under the icon. I made that 5 inch. I put a scrap black paper behind his eye and put "Glossy accents on them" Then outlined his smile with my Martha Stewart glitter marker "lovebird"
*Too finish it off i did some stitching around the doily. 

Kids!

This weekend I took the kids to Walmart. I always go to the craft area to see if there are any good deals. They had some cricut cartridges on sale!! I pick up 2 one for me and one for a give way on the blog. Picked up some craft stuff for the kids too. I got home took all the craft stuff downstairs put it on my craft desk. Then went upstairs to put the rest of the stuff away. You know that moment when your so busy and you realize that the kids are being to good and there hasnt been any fighting or crying :s so I start calling for them and find out they are downstairs. I go to make sure they are all Okay and find them in the Walmart craft bag :s with everything opened!!! My 6 year old had scissors out and had opened EVERYTHING!!!! Both cricut boxes, there was glitter all over the floor and paint all over my 2 year old daughter. Then my 4 year old son says "mommy we just wanted to make you a card" how can I get mad at that. So just a heads up the cricut cartridge I will be giving away in the next few weeks will not be sealed or in the box bc they destroyed both boxes :( kids will be kids.

BBTB Farm challenge

I made this card for the  Bitten By The Bug2 Challenge - On The Farm.

The cartridge i used was Create a Critter. I cut the cow out at 4 inch and the barn at 3.50 inch. I used peachy keen stamps "critter face set" for his face.

Cardz TV Challenge#113: “School’s Cool!”

Hi everyone

Again i have joined the Cardz TV Challenge#113: “School’s Cool!” Make a card for Back to School using any cartridge(s) and colors you’d like. 

Here is my card!! I used the cricut cartridge recess and elegant edges

*My card is an A2 size card in black.

*Red mat is 5 1/4 inch X 4 1/4 inch. my number mat is from DCWV THE GRADE SCHOOL STACK. Its just a great stack of papers if you have school age kids this is a great stack for you.

*I cut 2 elegant edges out page 33 the oblong 2.25 inch that is in red card stock. Then i cut the shadow at 2.75 inch with a different paper from the DCWV THE GRADE SCHOOL STACK.

*I cut the books at 2.25inch

*Finished my card off with 3 button.

cardz TV challenge #12 "anything goes" contest

Here is the card i am going to enter for cardz TV challenge #12 "anything goes". I made this card for my friend's bridal shower.

Here is My wedding card number 2. Wanted to do a video today but my 9 month old son is teething so its been a crazy day!! Here is how i made this card

White Card stock 8.5inch x 4.5 folded in half. Black mat is 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 inch. The Forever and Alway paper i bought a Walmart, its a wedding day pack by me & my BIG ideas mambo Sheets. i just love this Paper pack! i cut this paper at 4 x 5 inch

I cut the 4 hearts from Paisley cartridge 2 blacks and 2 whites. These papers i got from my local Michael craft store.  DCWV premium stack "LA CREME". I cut the black hearts out at 2.25inch and the white at 1.50 inch. For the grooms heart i cut the sides off the heart to make it look like his shirt. Then cut out the bow tie myself out of the left over black card stock that i had. Then used my Glaze gel pen to make his buttons. For the Bride heart i just used Ranger liquid pearls WHITE OPAL. Then just finished it off with the bow.  The hearts are pop off the paper with ek 3d-dots from Walmart.

ardz Tv & BBTB2 Christmas in July Contest!!

Hi everyone i am so happy to be able to enter my first cardz tv contest. Here is my christmas in july card.
Here is what i used to make this card
snowman - cricut cartridge best of 2006, action wobble. i glittered his mitts scarf and ear muffs with Martha stewart fluorescent green glitter I did his eyes with goggly eyes (credit to my son bc that was his idea)
Ribbon - american crafter premium ribbon
Paper- the snow flak paper is something i got from an ebay seller as a thank you. base of the card is your basic A2 card size.
sorry this is so short everyone but all 4 kids are down for a nap. I have so much to get done around the house before they wake up.  I am going to try to do my first video this week. Thats if the kids let me..lol  Try to pop in later on in the week.
